Suffering From Severe Addiction To Energy Drinks. How To Wean Off?

Hi there,
I've recently realised how much sugar I'm consuming by energy drinks. This came to me when I noticed that whenever someone touched me, I would feel pain shoot through the area where they had touched me. I want to know how I can stop drinking them in a way that I can't see the effects of not drinking them. They help me concentrate in class but if I'm experiencing pain, I would rather come off them.

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about your experience with excessive sugar intake. I am not sure that excessive sugar intake could be responsible for your symptoms of pain unless you have developed diabetes with associated complications.

Excess sugar intake is not good. This is because it becomes your source of energy and it doesn't constitute a balanced diet. This makes you prone to minerals and vitamins deficiencies. Also, this will make you not to haveinterest in foods.

Simply eat well at least 3-4times per day and drink sufficient water. This will provide you with the energy you need to stay focused and concentrate on your activities. It is a healthier and more convenient way of living than becoming dependent on drinks.

I hope you find this helpful. Thank you for using our services and please feel free to request for more information if need be. I wish you well good health.
