Suffering From Low Thyroid Problem

Hello. I believe I have been experiencing a low thyroid problem for a few years. I have many symptoms associated with it. Fatique, weight gain (27 # over the last 2 years), dry skin, thinning hair, not feeling like myself, moody, my whole body has very sore trigger points, difficulty concentrating and remembering things. I get extremely tired between the hours of 10am -2pm. I was dx with anemia about 3 years ago and have recently been treated for sleep apnea. My tongue feels too big for my mouth. Thyroid studies done about 6 months ago by my pcp showed my T3 and T4 slightly below normal and TSH in normal range. She did not feel anything needed to be done based on those results. I am seeing her again next and have had new tests done recently. I do not know the results yet. Any advice you can give me to help with my next appt. would be greatly appreciated. I will be 50 soon. Thank you

Endocrinologist 's  Response
Dear ma'm , hi! as you have reported low T3 and low T 4 , with normal TSH. this is suggestive of suppresses pituitary functioning. along with this you are symptomatic that favours hypothyroidism. so this time if the reports are again suggestive of low t3 and low t4 ask your pcp to work up your pituitary. Regards!
