Suffering From Cramps, Headaches, Spotting, Discharge. Expecting Periods. Early Periods Or Pregnant?
I am expecting my period tomorrow. 2 days before this I have been cramping really bad and having headaches. Then, today i have been spotting a pinkish color on my toilet paper plus a slick clear discharge, and having cramps and headaches. As i went to the bathroom tonight i noticed a brown stain on my underwear. I'm not sure if i started my period early or if i'm pregnant. Could you help?
It is possible that the symptoms of cramping and headaches can be due to premenstrual symptoms. These are symptoms that occur prior to the onset of the period and they can include physical and emotional symptoms.
The pink and brown colour noticed may also be due to blood stains.
To determine whether you are pregnant you would need to wait to see if your period comes as it is expected to. If it is delayed then you can consider doing a pregnancy tests. These tests check for HCG which normally shows up in the urine 11 to 14 days after conception.
If you wish for an earlier diagnosis you may consider speaking to your doctor for a blood HCG level . This is detected earlier than the urine HCG.
I hope this helps
