Suffering from concussion. Pain below eyebrow ,eyelid. Can I ask a doctor online?

Hi, I suffered a concussion eight days ago and a couple days after that up until now my right eye has been bothering me constantly all day, every day. It s a dull pressure-like pain below my eyebrow and on my eyelid area closer to my nose . It s to the point where I just want to lay in a dark room with the lights off and my face buried in a pillow. Closing my eyes doesn t help either.

Eye related complications following a concussion include blurred vision, double vision and light sensitivity. Fortunately, these resolve with time and disappear in a few days. Meanwhile, the best and effective things to do would be to rest your eyes as much as possible making use of computers and the television as little as possible. Also avoid any physical exertion for a while. To relieve the pain, take Acetaminophen. Avoid Ibuprofen or aspirin since these increase chances of bleeding. If the light is bothersome, use dark glasses in sunlight and around bright lights. The complaints will definitely disappear in a few days and all returns to normal.
