Suffering from a pin prick condition on the right side of my throat for 5 months

hi doctor , i am 40 year old female suffering from a pin prick condition on the right side of my throat for 5 months now. I have consulted some E/N/T doctors but the acid reflux medicines have had no effect until now. It feels as if a nail is being hammered into my throat all the time.Please help.

If your reflux medication in not giving any relief, also rule out the following conditions:
1. Glossopharyngeal Neuralgia
2. Eagle's syndrome (elongated styloid process)
3. Hyoid bursitis
4. Any ulceration or foreign body
Is your pain worse on swallowing? Doe it radiate to the ear?

hi
u need to do upper GI endoscopy to find out reason for the pricking sensation.
it may be due to infection ,allergy or web formation etc.
u must avoid going in dusty environment.
avoid cold drinks and food
do brush ur teeth twice a day.
better to take opinion of other ent doctor
u need to take antibiotic and analgesic medicine.

It suggests some infection in the throat ,it is the irregular surface ,post inflammation ,that gives such sensation of pricking nails.
