Hi shaima,

Welcome to HCM.
You have not mentioned your age and for how many years you have been married.
You have also not mentioned the cause for your unsuccessful intercourse.
Your back pain and abdominal pain are not related to your infection.
For scanty but prolonged periods you need to get an ultrasound scan done to rule out any uterine or ovarian pathology.

General & Family Physician Dr. Padma Saikia's  Response
Hi Shaima,
Welcome to HCM.
If you have same pattern even before the marriage then you don't have to worry. As your gynae said it may be due to infection. You can also get a abdominal scan to rule out in case you have any other problem since you are getting pain abdomen. After the scan have a follow up with your gynae for further management.
Wish you good health.
