My 12 week old baby fell from a changing unit and suffered a fracture to her skull. she was released after 48 hrs obs. She never lost consciousness nor had any clinical symptoms of a brain injury (which I hear though do not correlate to degree of brain injury in a child). she has a scalp haematoma and the neuro said small there were very drops of blood beneath fracture. He informed me of the possibility of a growing fracture. I am wondering about the possibility of long term damage to her brain. thank you
