Sudden Faint Episodes, Heart Racing, Thirst. No Help From Atenenolol, Dosulepin, Drowsiness From Citalophram. All Tests Normal. Help

out of the blue at work i had near faint episodes,heart racing ,unquenchable thirst .paramedics told me see your doctor.
i had thyroid,blood ,urine etc,all results came back o.k. doctor gave me time off with anxiety. put on 25 mg of atenenolol
then after another attack,given dosulepin & 4 weeks off. counselling & advice.but dosulpin made me tired all the time.
came off it slowly & attack again last week. given 10mg citalophram ,but want to R.T.W . soon on phased,work with machinery ,worried about drowsiness.

Hello,
I went through your statement. Your thyroid, Blood and urine test are normal. I assume that DM and HT are ruled out. Antidepressants may not be suitable for your work, and you can't blame the depression is the cause of your symptoms.
You need further investigation like - ECG, Carotid Doppler and CT brain to assess the blood supply to the brain. Electrolyte imbalance can also produce symptoms like what you got. You may have some problem for your symptoms. Try to find and treat it. Then you will be alright.
