Stopped Taking Synthroid As Palpitations, Hairfall Have Stopped. Doctor Suggested To Continue. Opinion?

I stopped taking my synthroid 7-8 months ago and am feeling much better now. However, my doctor wants me to keep taking it. I'm inclined to believe the medical profession is trying to kill us all! My heart palpatations have stopped, my hair is no longer falling out and I don't have itchy rashes anymore. I am also losing weight cause I'm not hungry all the time.

Hello
Welcome!
Thanks for the query posted .
I would suggest that you just monitor your thyroid profile on a regular basis say as in every 6 months . You do not need to continue the medication. However monitoring the blood levels of thyroxine would make sure that the levels are kept in check.

Take care
