Stomach Pains, Fatigue, Bleeding From The Anus. Have Constipation. Normal Colonoscopy. Any Help?
hi since last october 2012 ive had bleeding from my bum to point its alot and it scares me, i throw up for no reason sometimes and i have stomach pains and always feel tired and exhausted. i feel pressure also in back passage. ive had a colonoscopy done and found nothing and have had trips to hospital and there baffled , my bloods came back low iron and calcium levels and ive been on powders, tablets, creames and supositries nothing working and my doctor not helping me but they are wanting to repeat the colonoscopy again. please help thanks
If this is a bright red blood on the surface of the stool, hemorrhoids are the most probable reason. It is possible to miss hemorrhoids during the colonoscopy (when inserting a camera, the very first part of rectum can missed). Itching around the anus or lump can be present.
If your blood is mixed with the stool and red (not black), large intestine is the source of bleeding. Abdominal pain, fatigue and constipation with bleeding can indicate some serious disease like colon cancer or inflammatory bowels disease. So the colonoscopy is a very good idea and you should have it done as soon as possible.
Hope this will help. Regards.
