No doctor on this earth can tell you for sure that it will be a normal delivery, until the last moment.
If the presentation of the baby is transverse lie or breech, then it certainly will be surgical, as normal delivery is impossible in the former case and very risky in the latter case.
Most of the obstetricians do not prefer to take risk of normal delivery, in case of precious
pregnancy and opt for elective Caesarian Section.
So whether you will have normal or surgical delivery, depends on lots of factors.
Even if you opt for normal deliver, and every thing is favourable for normal delivery, if there is no progress during labour, the attending doctor will have no choice but to go for surgery.
Surgical or normal, you should get a healthy baby. That is more important.
