Stent Inserted In Heart, Cardioversion Is Required After Blood Is Thinned

I will need a cardioversion (shock to the heart) after I get my blood thinned for 30 days. My CC # is 0000, I don't know what Doctor at CC to call, I'm 79 and live in Florida. Weather permitting will drive to Cleveland. 30 days agohad a stent main heart artery left. Alice Mercer

Hello Alice. History you have given is quite incomplete. Cardioversion is not required as a routine therapy until unless there are some rhythm disturbance. With this information I can only make an assumption that you have a rhythm abnormality with a clot in any of the chamber of the heart which needs to be dissolved before your rhythm disturbance is addressed. Kindly provide me the following for more information.1-your Electrocardiogram interpretation 2-your Echocardiography report.
