Started Flagyl For C Diff. Does Throat. Contains T Doctor?
I started Flagyl 500 mg p.o. 3x/day for C Diff on 10/ 2 after being hospitalized and receiving 5 doses of IV Flagyl. My drug information states I should call my Dr. immediately for a sore throat, which I began experiencing a couple hours ago, about 2.5 hours after my most recent dose of Flagyl. How urgent is it for me to contact my Dr.?

I read your query and it seems sore throat is allergic reaction to Flagyl 500mg usage .
Stop drug first and I advice you to Call your Doctor immediately so as to get advice from your doctor regarding reducing dosage of drug or change of drug if necessary.
