Spotting After Sex. PAP Smear Shows Cysts On Cervix. Normal?
So my husband and I are trying to conceive but some irregularities have occurred. 1) after sex I have been spotting about 3 times this month (not all the time but this was not normal before) 2) my periods last 3 days but last night (2days after my period) I bled after sex and woke up this morning to watery pinkish/brown blood . I had a pap about 3/4 months ago and was told I have tiny cysts on my cervix but nothing to worry about....is this normal?
To start off, I would like to comment on the pinlish discharge you noticed. This is seen in women who are either expecting a period or ones who are suffering from an infection.
Some women who are trying to conceive end up getting infections, as sexual activity is increased. This is normal, but will have to be confirmed with a physical examination, urine analysis and vaginal swab test.
I am not sure about the cysts you have mentioned,as I require more details about the same. But cysts around the cervix might require further investigation, unless these are simple cysts (eg. Nabothian cysts, which subside on their own).
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
