Hi there Smokefree..being a lumber yard must be a tough job & will definitely take its toll on your feet given your need to wear 'safety boots' et al. What you describe could simply be what is called in medical terms a 'pyogenic granuloma' which is why it bleeds on touch. It is a misnomer in the name..basically it is a skin reaction pattern & best resolved with cauterisation by your local dermatologist
