Sore And Dry Eyes,headache.Treatment?

I am partially sighted, I have a referral to a low vision clinic. Since starting my new job with a lot more computing than I am used to my eyes have got sorer and dryer and headaches started to develop earlier and earlier in the day. It has got to the point where I now have severe headeaches most of the day or even when I wake up and find myself very light sensitive towards the evening and getting slight blurring at the edge of my vision. We have tried altering font size, increasing light levels and I am not constantly looking at screen with regular short breaks. I have been to an optician who could not find a prescription that would make much difference. I was taking paraceamol at times but didn't want to take it over prolonged periods. Any suggestions?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to health care magic

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having sore eyes and headache.
Since you are using computer these symptoms can be because of dryness of eyes called as computer vision syndrome.
This requires treatment by the use of artificial tears and antiinflammatory drugs.
Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
