So I Was Surgically Treated For Zenker's Diverticulum 3 Yrs

So I was surgically treated for Zenker's Diverticulum 3 yrs ago...I went for another swallow test back in the summer and they indicated that I also have an esophageal motility issue. But I've also developed a condition of massive gas build up in my stomach immediately after initiating any exercise involving my legs (walking or going up the stairs). I was an avid runner but that's out of the question now - I can't go a 100 feet without gas...the pain radiates across my back and down my arms to my fingertips and is only relieved by constantly burping. I contacted my surgeon and he says that the Zenker's would do this gas thing but I don't see the "how" in this generation of stomach gas. As soon as I stop walking or running the gas stops - is it possible for the Zenker's and the motility issue to initiate this amount of gas? GasX doesn't stop it and acid reflux meds don't either. I took a food allergy test and it was totally negative...this is wearing me down. Thanks
