Small Lump Under Skin In Leg

I feel a small sized lump under my skin in my leg. It doesn t protrude through my skin but if I press down on the area I can feel the lump. What could it be?

Hello. Welcome to HCM.
Superficial lumps beneath the skin can be lipomatous tumours or cystic swellings. it can be a sebaceous/ parasitic cyst or even a benign neurofibroma. The best way to detect is to get an FNAC followed by a complete excision biopsy if required. It need not be dangerous but definitely needs to be removed as may be complicated by enlargement/ infection or rupture as the case may be.
