Small Fine Bumps In Throat, Stinking Throat, On And Off Red Dots On Tongue. History Of HPV, Having Oral Sex, Lymph Blood Work More Than Normal Limit. Cancer?

my throat has broke out in these very small fine bumps and since they have came seem like my throat stinks and my tongue has a red dot that comes and goes my ENT dr. told me those are nothing to worry about but I feel them multiplying in my throat they are going further down my not just in my upper palate area I ask him to do a biopsy because I was diagnosed with HPV before but they say it has cleared but at the same time I practiced oral sex around the time I was diagnosed plus I had blood work to come back that said my lymph blood work was like 2 notches over the normal limit but they said I had no infection they could find I scared I may have throat cancer and no one is listening to me

Hello

Thanks for choosing H.C.M. for query.

After reading your query I came to know that you are having some short of oropharyngeal infection but you are worried for cancer.

As you have practiced for oral sex therefore oral infections are likely to be there, but your symptoms are not indicating towards cancer. For the diagnosis and treatment point of view you should do these investigations-

1- Culture and sensitivity of throat swab.

2- VDRL.

3- Scrape cytology from throat mucosa to rule out malignancy.

4- FNAC from neck glands.

By the inferences of these investigations one may rule out oral cancer and at the same time correct diagnosis may be established that may be accordingly plan for treatment.

Regards.
