Small Child Suffering With High Fever, Vomiting, Nausea, Dizziness. Viral Infection?

I have a 6yo that came home after school vomiting . He had this go on every hour until about 9pm. He slept fine and then was kept home just in case. About 24 hours after the vomiting had started...he now has a fever of 102 with nausea and dizziness . Is this viral and does he need to wait it out? He has been drinking water and ate a little earlier in the day but not much for severAL hours.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi
This is looking like Viral Fever with Gastritis. For fever give Tylenol and ondansetron for vomitings in prescribed dosages and give plenty of oral rehydrating fluids sips and soft diet and consult your Pediatrician for the examination of your child and specific medication advise.
I find this answer helpful
