Hi ,
Thank you for your query.
Do not panic.
Your child has a viral infection ;most probably.
I would like to know the weight of the baby.
The dosage of the medicines don't seem to be correct.
Use T minic drops instead of syrup.
I would precribe an X ray of the chest.
Along with that I would advice some nasal decongestants which will give relief to your child.
If you have any further queries you are free to consult me.
Hope this answers your query.Wishing your child a speedy recovery.Have a nice day.

Hello
Levolin, t-minic and augmentin are good for chest infection with cold and cough in 1 and half year old child. Irritation is common in respiratory infection.
Also give him syrup zinc and put nasal saline drops in each nostril alternatively 4-6 times a day. This will help in relieving nasal blockade. As breathing difficulty due to nasal blockade also causes irritabilility.
Give him feeding same as before illness. This irritability will subside within 2-3 days.
