Should Scan Be Done To Check For Pregnancy Because Of Delay In Periods?
Hi my last period was on 27 march till now i dint get my periods i took three home preg test but it showed negative results. My doc prescribed me to take Meprate 10 mg twice a day for 5 days before that can i go for scan to make sure that i am not preg for my satisfaction. Pls do help me.

Urine tests done in reputed labs are very reliable. Especially that you have repeated it many times.
I recommend that if you want to be sure you can do a blood test serum beta Hcg to check for pregnancy. This is more reliable than a scan.
If after this test pregnancy is negative then you can take meprate.
You may need other investigation to check whether you have hormonal issue like thyroid deficiency.
