Should Ovary Removal Operation Be Done 4-6 Weeks After Traveling By Flight?

Hi,
I need a operation to remove my ovarys, however i'm going on holiday in a few weeks ive been told that i can not have it until 4 - 6 wk after my return flight is this correct and if so why is there any medication that i can take to enable this to happen sooner

Hi, thanks for writing..
If all the blood parameters, BP, sugar is well undercontrol with no other signs of infection, you can undergo oophorectomy.. There is no relation of the operation with flight travel.. but after the operation, you should avoid travelling for 6 weeks because the change in pressure affects wound healing.. So you can proceed with operation after the holiday..Hope I have answered your query.. Good day..
