Should Medication Be Taken For High Cholesterol Levels?

My cholesterol level remains around 250 and triglycerides 350 most of the time. I do walk n that helps, however if i stop regular walk, it again shoots. Kindly suggest if i shud start taking medicine . Also my bp remains 130/90. My age is 38 n weight 83 height 5.11'

I have gone through your query.Total cholesterol of 250 is not normal.Maintaining below 180 is better even though below 200 is considered as normal.Triglycerides also is high.So in such case if you are my patient i recommend medication also along with the exercise.I usually prescribe Atorvastatin and Fenofibrate in low dose.Hope this may help you.
