I am 30 yrs old, no child, 3 years for marriage. on 18/6/2012 i had undergone laprotomy and laproscopic surgery for Right Salpingo- oopherectomy for torsion and necrosis ovary in Qatar- Doha. After Surgery i did not have Menstrual cycle for around 4-5 months and i was suffering from menopausal symptoms so i contact doctor, she did Ultrasound- report says both the ovaries not visble and did my hormone test estradiol-----LH---------64 FSH--------93 Prolactin-----191 Progestron---, chromosomal study--- normal karyotype chromosomal complement anti mullerian - MRI, CT Scan And Ultrasound - showed no Ovary and lower anterior intramural fibroid Then they diagnosed me as Premature Ovarian Failure, ( actually doctors are removed my both the ovary i came to know later with my 2nd surgery) and they said i must on hormonal replacement therapy and i must go for IVF with egg donation. on Feb 2013 at manipal Hospital, Bangalore i Had my First IVF treatment with donor egg but it failed. . As i was planning for my treatment in February so went in Oct 2013 for pre investigation i did all investigation like hyteroscopy, TB endometrium, PAP smear etc all are normal expect my hormone elevation and ultrasound showed -fibriod. Dr. advised me to remove fibroid and he said its one of reason for failure so in essential Hospital, Bangalore i did my laproscopic surgery for fibriod removal. after surgery they will put on Uterine suppressing drug Lupride 11.25mg, and they told me that after 3 -5 month i will get periods, i took that drug on Oct 15, 2014, as i was not getting periods i contact Dr. of Manipal, they said i am not right person to receive the Lupride injection as in case i am already suppresed since before. They advised me to do Ultrasound and Hormone test-- Ultrasound--- uterus measures 6X 2.3 cm, Endometrium thickness of 3mm and small sub serous fibrroid of 8X6 mm Hormone Test Thyroid Function test-- Normal range Estradiol---- 22pmol/l Prolactin----85mIU/L Progestrone----0.3nmol/L Testosterone---- LH---- FSH---14IU/L Now my question whether i get periods by itself or i should take HRT to induce periods, actually i am planning to take My IVF treatment in month june. As i get vaccation once in year. Doctor please help me regarding my situation and if possible answer as early possible. Regards Surekha Kir
