Should I Stop Taking Placebo Pills Due To Reoccurred Period?
I am very confused, as this is the second time I have started my period in the middle of a pack of birth control. I have 7 days left until my placebo pills and have somehow began bleeding today. I am very confused as to what I should do. Should I stop taking my birth control and let my body run its course? Will doing so decrease the effectiveness of my birth control? Should I continue taking my pills until I reach the placebo pills even though I am bleeding and in the past when this has happened, elongate my period (it was 13 days last time this happened)? Should I be concerned that something is wrong with me?
You should continue the pills despite the period will come or not. Continue the pills regularly every day in order to give its contraception effectiveness.
Your period will be more regular by using the pills. If after three months this irregular bleeding still happens go to your gynaecologist for further investigation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
