Should I Stop Carbimazole Inspite Of Having Headache As Side Effect?
good morning ,I have been recently diagnosed hyperthyroid, 1i have been on Carbimazole 5mg tds ,in this my third week I have been experiencing extreme headaches all day ,I also take Panadol osteo for arthritis and Nexium for gut/duodenal ulcer, I stopped carbimazole on saturday today is Monday ,my headache is gone should I go back on carbimazole now or wait till I see dr in 2 weeks time.

First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared,you need to reduce the dose of Carbimazole and like instead of thrice daily take twice daily and let you pain settle plus donot take long term painkillers for arthritis as prolong use of painkillers can also cause headache.
