Should I Do An Eye Examination And For What Should I Do So?

I am a 60 year old male, 5 9 , 185. I had open heart surgery 3 months ago to replace my aortic valve (mechanical) and had the maze procedure as well to correct my a-fib. Fully recovered and back to my regular activities. My question is, should I, and if so, when should I go in to get an eye examination? If so, what is the reason I should do so? Thank you.
