Should I Continue Taking Aleve For Pain In My Neck And Back?

I m 64 years old and have been suffering with pain in my neck and upper back. I have limited mobility. I started taking Aleve 1 every 12 hours and have found relief. I have tried to go off them but the pain comes back with a vengence. Now I m afraid I m addicted to them and wonder if I should cintinue taking them.

Hi,
Any medicine taking for long time is not advisable unless prescribed by your doctor.
Aleve tablet is a NSAID medicine and should not be taken for long time and particularly if you got some stomach problem and cardiac ailment.
It is advisable to for to find out the cause of having neck and upper back pain and go for appropriate treatment.
