Should I Be Worried About The Fever And Loss Of Appetite In My Child?

My 16 month old son vomited monday morning. Had no fever. Then had diarrhea with a fever of 100 yesterday. Today has neither but a 101 temp. He drinks alot of water and has good wet diapers. A slightly decreased appetite and is very tired. Is this serious?
