After a d@c it takes at least a couple of weeks for the hormone levels to get back to normal After that test should be negative. If you have a positive test after a period, then this is possibly a new pregnancy. But you have to be sure there was a you had a period after the bleeding stopped after the d&c. Get an ultrasound asap.
