Hi,
Surgery of fistula in ano is complicated and requires great skill.
In this condition there are various sinus track opening in anal canal.
During surgery we have to trace all sinus tracks and should open up and drained properly.
Any track not traced properly or drained, recurrence of fistula is likely.
Consult surgeon and take second opinion.
Ok and take care.
