Should I Worry About Hard Swelling Without Pain On Face After A Hit?

My 3 year old came fro daycare with a bruise on his face after another kid hit him. The bruise looked like a hematoma which eventually got absorbed but now has a hard swelling without pain at the site (cheek). Should I be worried? It's now about 3 weeks old.

This is not something I would be overly worried about. However, It should be watched, and at least a little improvement should be noted every 1-2 days. If at any point the resolution of the swelling stops progressing, you should have it examined by your doctor.
