Should I Worry About A Painful Scab On Foot While Suffering From Diabetes?

I have Diabetes, and have has a scab on the back of my heel for more than 3 weeks. It is not getting any better. It is warm to touch and very painfull at times if i hit it against something. Should i be worried? I also work in a pool, and cant keep it dry!

Yes indeed you need to worry.

Because in conditions associated with diabetes including foot always needs to be checked.

It might be due to infection, it will be more in depth than it appears. So needs to be checked throughly.
