Should I Wait For The Normal Delivery?

hi doc yesterday my gyc.suggest me betnesol 12mg inj in two doses 24 hrs apart.what does it mean? i m 35 weeks today. there is an loop of cord around the baby neck and amount of amonio fluid is also quit less. doc told me for cessaren around 38 39 weeks should i wait for normal delivery. plz guide me

Thanks for your question.
Doctor has given you steroids to ensure that your fetus's lungs are mature enough to survive in case an early delivery is required. Cord of loop alone is usually no indication for a cesarean section but less fluid indicates that there may have been some growth issue with the fetus, & probably your doctor feels that baby will not sustain the stress of normal labor.
It is impossible for me to suggest you anything, however, you may take a second opinion from another qualified Obstetrician by personally visiting along with all your reports before making a final choice.
