Hello ma'am and welcome.

The whole bleeding that you experienced was your period and for your good luck it took place after your unprotected sexual contact, which in itself ruled out pregnancy. Although the morning after pill was taken late, it would have still been even more helpful in preventing conception. The only reason you are experiencing a delay is because of the pill you took, and nothing else.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
