Should I Be Concerned If Child's BCG Vaccine Spot Starts Oozing?

Hello, my daughters bcg vaccine spot started oozing today again and I tried to squeeze it. A hard yellow-ish bit then showed up and i took it out with a clean baby wipe. I realize it was the old pus that was left deeper inside of her hand. After cleaning the blood off the scar with baby wipes I put a small round plaster on it. She did not cry but should I be concerned? As well I am wondering, what are the chances of it all happening again? Thank you.

Sincerely,
Giedre C.

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM.
Need not to be panic.
BCG scar often tend to give exaggerated response.
Many times it get infected also. Usually cleaning with some antiseptic lotion and some times antibiotics are required.
Some times it take time to get scared & dried properly.
Hope the query is answered.
