Should I Be Concerned For Swollen Eyes/nose After Stung By Bee?

My eight year old American daughter was stung by a bee yesterday in Shanghai where we are living for the year -- the sting was on the edge of the eye. All around her eye and side of her nose is swollen. She is experiencing very dramatic chills. Is there any cause for concern.

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

The swelling is likely to be due to localized immune reaction. It will subside over period of time. Taking anti-histaminics will be helpful in relieving the symptoms.

Take Care
