Should I Be Concerned About Thick Grey And Brown Discharge With Strong Smell Prior To Periods?

I am having a thick gray discharge as well as a thick brown discharge with a pretty strong smell before my period.(I still haven't had my period(its not very late) I had the Paragard IUD put in place about 9 months ago. Took a pregnancy test today an it came back negative. I am just wondering if it is normal or if I should be concerned if so what could it be?

Hi,
I think it is an issue to be concerned about. This is not very usual and normal concerning the characteristics of a normal discharge. I think you might need to see your primary care physician or gynecologist for a review. A bacteriological, microbiological parastological analysis, coupled with a complete clinical review could be most useful. thanks and kind regards
