Should I Be Concerned About 9.0 Hgb When I Was Released With 9.6 Hgb?
My husbands hgb was 7.0 and after 6 units of blood he was released with a 9.6 hgb. today it's 9.0. He is having the same symptoms as he was having prior to the 7.0 except for the tar stools. 1 month ago his hgb was 14.8. Should we be concerned with the 9.0?

Yes it is something to be worried about as anything less than 10 Hgb is anemia. Also since there is a falling trend i there might be a source of internal bleeding or any internal cause that is damaging his blood cells. It will be preferable if he can be shown to a Medical Specialist for his problems
