Should Citalopram And Clonazepm Be Taken Together?

Hello,
I've been on 40mg of citalopram each morning for 2 years now and until recently I've been great. Now my doctor has added .5mg of clonazepam twice daily to my routine. Should I be taking both at the same time or should there be a few hours between the two drugs?

As you are taking citalopram 40 mg ,while advised clonzepam 5 mg twice in day.
Citalopram is an anti depressant and clonazepam is bezodiazepine s.
When clonazepam is taken together citalopram , the dose of anti depressant should remain same but the dose of clonazepam should decrease .
So in my opinion in the morning decrease the dose of clonazepam i.e 5 mg to 2.5 mg .
Otherwise sedative effect of clonazepam may increase .
However, in the night you can take 5 mg.
But before any change , consult your doctor and get his opinion.
