Should Choloramphenicol Be Continued For Conjunctivitis In Eye?

I have been using choloramphenicol for conjunctavitis for the past two days. I get itching, burrning sensation in the skin around the eyes and a gritty. The severe redness has reduced considerably. Should I continue? Only answer if you give free advice
