Sharp Pain On Pricking To Give Blood. Intense Pain In Arm. Did They Blow My Vein?

I just attempted to give blood . The nurse could not get a good stick and on the last try it was a very sharp pain.. not the normal prick. She gave up without actually drawing blood. Now my arm has very sharp intense pain that sometimes shoots up to my shoulder . This happened to me the very first time I gave blood (this was my fifth time) and I was told they had blown my vein . Did she blow my vein today?
