Sharp Pain In Toes, Tingling Nose, Ear Pressure. Cause For Above Symptoms?

I have been having some vague symptoms and just wondering if they are related or are anything I need to worry about. The symptoms are pins & needles/sharp pains in toes, tingling nose, and problems with ear pressure. The issue with the toes has been going on for quite some time and has not been that bothersome. More recently I have gotten the ear and nose issues, which are not really that bothersome either, but just want to make sure there's nothing I need to get checked out. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi and thanks for the query,

These symptoms are suggestive of a peripheral neuropathy, which is actually a nerve lesion or problem. Commonest causes of these are diabetes mellitus, electrolyte abnormalities like low blood calcium, sodium and potassium levels. It is also important to screen for blood vitamin B12 and B6 levels and serum Vitamin D levels. A complete clinical review and a consultation with an internist or neurologist would be of great help. Thanks and hope this helps as I wish you the best of health. Kind regards.
