General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
I would come up with these possibilities , these includes.
1 Perimenopausal syndrome , diagnosis can be confirmed by examination of estrogen , estradiol F S H/ L H hormones level . As all these symptoms are an indication of depletion of estrogen.
2 May be due to hyper acidity ( gastritis ) , diagnosis can be confirmed by upper G I endoscopy . To help control stomach acid one should not drink alcohol or drinks with caffeine in them or eat chocolate or greasy or spicy foods. Also take some antacid but if symptoms are severe you may need drugs like proton pump inhibitors.
3 Itching on palm or feet may be due to some sort of allergy . Diagnosis can be confirmed by blood examination for eosinophils count.
In my opinion consult a gynecologist and get his opinion regarding menopause .
Good luck. Dr. HET
