ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello there

6 days is a short time after surgery , and there would be a little bit of pain

I would expect that you surgeon would have started you on some medicines for the pain , some gargles ( such as betadine+ hydrogen peroxide) , and some other tablets ( antibiotics )
You could consider Diclofenac gargles( e.g. disoral/redirinse)

As for the diet , you should try having soft food without spices ( idli, halwa , plain dal and rice , simple vegetables etc.)

please give it a little time

If you think that it is getting worse , or the medicines are not helping , I suggest you meet with the operating surgeon
