Severe Pain In Hip And Shin After Climbing Ladder. History Of Having Diskectomy Due To Badly Herniated Disks. Concerning?

Hello. A year ago I had a diskectomy because I had two badly herniated disks. Have been very careful...at least I thought so. Suddenly, on Saturday I got up and had such pain in my left leg when walking. Mainly in hip and front of shin. Two days prior I climbed a ladder at our home construction and had to lift my left leg pretty high. Could I have done something then? Sitting is fine. Walking is the worst.

Hello

As per your history there is probability of muscle sprain, you may need muscle relaxant and neurotropics.
If pain doesnt relieve then MRI spine may be needed as you are operated in past for disc disease.

Physiotherapy may help .
