Severe Muscle Pain, Advised Diazepam, On Pain Medication For Amputated Toe. Will They Give Side Effect ?

My wife's name is AAAAA. She is having this severe muscle pain for 4-5 days now. The pain started Saturday night at her upper right arm down to my wrists and back again up to her shoulder with no apparent reason. She went to the emergency hospital Sunday midnight. They did the blood test and x-ray. Doctors ruled out calcium build-ups & carpal tunnel syndrome. Doctors diagnosis is muscle spasms and send her home with pain medication (Hydrocodone) and muscle reluctant pills (Diazepam). The following Day, Monday, her left leg started having pains that emanated her thigh down to her ankle. This made her cry, moan and impossible to walk without screaming for pain. She went back to the hospital for the second time with both right arm and left leg muscle pains. She stayed of 9-10 hours and the doctor did not have any clue to what was really going on. Doctor released her from the hospital hoping that the pain killer medicine (Oxycodone) with the higher dosage will take care of it. None of the medication is working and now her left arm muscle is starting to get painful.

My wife's name is Anna. She is having this severe muscle pain for 4-5 days now. The pain started Saturday night at her upper right arm down to her wrists and back up to her shoulder with no apparent reason. She went to the emergency hospital Sunday midnight. They did an EKG & x-rays that day. Doctors ruled out calcium build-ups & carpal tunnel syndrome. Doctors diagnosis is muscle spasms and send her home with pain medication (Hydrocodone) and muscle reluctant pills (Diazepam). The following Day, Monday, her left leg started having pains that emanated from her thigh down to her ankle. This made her cry, moan and impossible to walk without screaming for pain. She went back to the hospital for the second time with both right arm and left leg muscle pains. They draw blood samples to look for electrolytes. She stayed of 9-10 hours and the doctor did not have any clue to what was really going on an still back to a spasm diagnosis. Doctor released her from the hospital hoping that the pain killer medicine (Oxycodone) with the higher dosage will take care of it. None of the medication is working and now her left arm muscle is starting to get painful too.
Anna has been under diabetic treatment for 3 months now. Her right toe was amputated 2 months ago due to the infection that penetrated toe bone. Pick line was utilized to discharge the antibiotic. 1 month later, the doctor changed the antibiotic to amoxicillin to control the infection of the final healing process of the amputated toe. She is now taking the following medication in relation to her diabetic problem and heart attack on 2008: Novolin –R & Novolin –N, Hydrochlorothiazide, Metoprolol, Benazepril, Atorvastatin, Amoxicillin, Aspirin, Fish oil.
Given these set of medicines, is there any of these when combined will give a side effect that may cause pains in the muscular areas of her arm, hand, shoulder, thigh and legs? Please help. You may respond to my personal email at YYYY@YYYY or her email at YYYY@YYYY .

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The muscle pain that you are having could be due to the infection or the side effect of the antibiotics that you have taken. Taking diazepam or muscle relaxants like thiocolchicoside will help you.
