Hello!

Thank you for the query.

First of all you should get proper diagnose of your stomach. Chronic gastritis symptoms can be caused by acid reflux disease, stomach inflammation, peptic ulcer, Helicobacter Pylori infection. You are over the age of 50, so large intestine disease should be also considered (it does not have to be a stomach giving you pain). Especially if you have any constipation, diarrhea, bloating, blood in stool.

I suggest you to visit your doctor and have gastroscopy performed at first. During this test, Helicobacter Pylori infection will be checked. It is possible that after this bacteria eradication your symptoms will go away. If nothing will be found, colonoscopy should be considered.

Acid reflux disease is very often associated with asthma. So your chest pain can be also caused by this disease. That is why you should visit pulmunologist and have spirometry (blow test)

Hope this will help.
Regards.
