Severe Bleeding And Pain After Intercourse. Reason?

Hi, I've just recently started using marvelon birth control almost two weeks ago and since then I've been having troubles with sex. This was not on the side affects so its kind of scaring me. My boyfriend and i have had sex numerous times before the birth control and woth the same kind of condom so im not sure what's wrong. The first time we tried after i started using marvelon I started to bleed within 5 minutes and it felt as if my hymen had torn, i ble quite a bit. It felt alright the next day but it was a little sore. I've never bled during sex before this and my boyfriend saidi felt too tight. the second time was today about a week after the first time and it only lasted for about a mnute until i started bleeding and this time it was very painful, i started bleeding at 5 and it didn't stop until 9 while I was in the bath. In the bath there was lots of blood and I inserted a finger to see what was going on and i felt swollen, when i removed my finger huge blood clots came out so i have a feelimg that's not normal! I would really appreciate the help in knowing what is happening, thank you

Hi there ~

I understand your concern and it may be that you are having trouble with sex due to changing your birth control pill. Though there are many side effects that come with the box of pills, I do not believe that every person has all those side effects. I also feel like this is not an issue with you. I wonder if you need to be checked by a gynecologist for the huge blood clots that came out. It does not sound normal. I hope getting an appointment with a gynecologist will help.

Take care and have a lovely day!
